Michigan Advertising and Marketing (MAM) is a student organization that provides the opportunity for students to gain marketing and advertising experience by consulting businesses, startups, and nonprofits in how to effectively market and advertise themselves.
Client teams made up of 4 to 6 students and are tasked with developing marketing strategies and conducting market research for their client. Each client team is lead by an Account Director who communicates directly with the client and facilitates team meetings.
Creative Design Team (CDT) members are responsible for the creative work for all of the MAM clients. In addition to designing and producing content for client teams, they also participate in CDT wide projects and activities. Past projects have included mobile application design, posters and fliers, social media posts, and videos.
Whether you are a student hoping to gain more experience or a client looking to work with our organization, we are always open to building relationships for future semesters.

Prospective members should have strong interest in advertising, marketing, market research, and/or advertising design. They must be willing and able to work in teams, and motivated to participate in club-wide activities. We look for members that are able to think creatively and solve client challenges. As a cohort, all new members will undergo a training program, lead by veteran club members, covering marketing essentials, analytics, strategy, and career development

We look for businesses interested in print, digital, social media, and strategic work done by Michigan students. Interested businesses must have strong communication skills and be willing to delegate tasks and needs to our student members.
